I have always loved art and unique or beautiful photography images. An image can take you far away from where you are. It can take you to another world, to your future dreams, or back in time to your most cherished moments.
The common saying is that a picture is worth a thousand words.
Although this is true, there is another truth that has always spoken deeply to me. Whether seeing an incredible sunset, or capturing a favorite memory, a picture can never do the experience justice. No matter how amazing the photo is, it’s never the same as being there in person.
And to me, that is the never ending challenge and magic of photography. To capture the feeling, the little details as best you can so when others see it, they can experience just a little piece of that moment and be taken there, however briefly.
